Please Forgive Me (3/365)

Please Forgive Me - David Gray: Forever linked with transition. Bittersweet. Saying hello; waving goodbye. Stones thrown. Loves lost, friendships severed; while hopes of the new ones yet to be discovered aren't even ripples. Goodbye Raleigh; Hello Charlotte. I was travelling "deep into some mystery" with "all my words falling short."

My cyberpal Michele taped me that album (White Ladder) a few years ago. This was before everyone started burning CDs.

"This Year's Love" is a nice track, too.

Too bad there's no way of having the song you're writing about play when you click on the title, but I guess that would involve some sort of copyright infringement?

Deloney- Love the whole CD. Life in Slow Motion is good too.

Helen, If you click on the group/musician's name, I have included the link that will take you to his/her/their website. Lots of the sites have sample tracks.

I should check him out further. I've been at a friend's (Sioux's!) when she's had it playing, and yet I've never really listened to him.

I knew someone who really liked David Gray and thought I would too, because I liked Dan Bern. I was too much of a one singer-songwriter kinda gal to really give Gray a chance. Maybe it is time now...
